IT Consultant

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

We at Jotun Egypt are seeking a proactive IT Consultant to support and maintain our IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and end-user devices at our factory in 10th of Ramadan. The role involves ensuring reliable and secure IT operations, troubleshooting technical issues, working with vendors on IT projects, and managing internal IT equipment to keep business systems running smoothly.
This role will be based at our factory in 10th of Ramadan and will report to the Senior IT consultant.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.

  
  

• Manage and support cloud and on-premises server environments, ensuring secure and reliable operations.

  
  

• Implement and maintain secure network segmentation between corporate IT, Operational Technology (OT), and utility networks.

  
  

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network, server, and connectivity issues to maximize system availability.

  
  

• Configure and support end-user devices and peripherals, ensuring they meet security and company standards.

  
  

• Coordinate with IT vendors and contractors, and manage IT hardware inventory to support projects and maintain business continuity.

  
  

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

What We Look For:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or equivalent.

  
  

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in end-user support.

  
  

• ITIL / VMware / Scrum certification is preferred.

  
  

• Should be able to communicate fluently in English.
