Description:


Manager, Sales – Hematology is responsible for leading and managing the overall sales operations for the assigned portfolio, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and business objectives. The role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, leading and coaching the sales team, strengthening customer relationships, monitoring market dynamics, and driving sustainable business growth in alignment with the company's commercial strategy.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute the sales strategy and business plans for the Hematology portfolio to achieve sales, market share, and profitability targets.
  • Lead and manage the sales team by setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, providing coaching, and developing talent to ensure a high-performing organization.
  • Drive commercial excellence through effective sales execution, territory optimization, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), hospitals, purchasing authorities, and other stakeholders to maximize business opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer insights, and healthcare dynamics to identify growth opportunities and develop appropriate business actions.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of brand strategies and customer engagement plans.
  • Lead product lifecycle management initiatives, including launch readiness, portfolio expansion, market penetration, and lifecycle optimization to maximize product performance.
  • Analyze sales performance, business metrics, and market data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure effective customer service and issue resolution by coordinating with internal stakeholders to maintain customer satisfaction and business continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, ethical standards, and local healthcare requirements across all commercial activities.
  • Manage departmental resources and budgets effectively to optimize return on investment and support sustainable business growth.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and customer focus within the sales organization

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a related field.
  • 8–11 years of sales experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive managerial experience leading sales teams.
  • Mandatory experience in Hematology and Oncology products and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams.
