Context

We are looking for "OCC/SCADA Senior Engineer" for EET (Green Line) for Cairo location.



Missions/Main Duties

Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee the planning, design, installation, and maintenance of the OCC/SCADA, including catenary wires, supports, and electrical components. 
  • Ensure the OCC/SCADA operates effectively, providing safe and uninterrupted electrical power to trains. 
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to keep the OCC/SCADA in optimal working condition. 
  • Monitor the condition of wires, pantographs, and electrical equipment for timely repairs and upgrades. 
  • Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for OCC/SCADA systems. 
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent electrical hazards and disruptions to railway operations. 
  • Lead and manage a team of OCC/SCADA technicians, engineers, and specialists. 
  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to maintain a skilled and efficient workforce. 
  • Develop and implement emergency response procedures for OCC/SCADA-related incidents, such as wire damage or power outages. 
  • Ensure quick response and resolution of OCC/SCADA issues to minimize disruptions. 
  • Collaborate with OCC/SCADA equipment suppliers, contractors, and service providers for maintenance, upgrades, and procurement. 
  • Manage contracts, budgets, and procurement related to the OCC/SCADA infrastructure. 
  • Maintain accurate records of OCC/SCADA system configurations, maintenance, incidents, and inspections. 
  • Generate reports for management, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders as needed. 
  • Stay informed about advancements in OCC/SCADA technology and equipment. 
  • Recommend improvements and upgrades to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the OCC/SCADA system. 
Profile/Skills

Requirements: 



  • University degree (engineering faculty) 
  • General overall experience (15) years 
  • 7 years of professional experience in the same field (Rail Transit Projects). 
  •   5 years of experience in management and implementation of similar transport infrastructure projects and in a similar position. 
  • Good communication and management skills and capacity to negotiate and develop good. 
  • fluent in English.
