Senior Category Manager

JOB TITLE
Category Senior Manager | MAF Global Solutions | Global Solutions Egypt
ROLE SUMMARY
Leading a team to execute both tactical and strategic sourcing of products and services for all MAF operating companies across various countries within Fit out Category while ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives and plans developed in Egypt.
ROLE PROFILE

• Partner with the Category Lead to deliver the FM category strategy, roadmap, and annual budget aligned with business needs
• Develop and implement compliant sourcing strategies at project level, ensuring alignment with policies and business objectives
• Lead complex sourcing activities for new projects, ensuring timely execution and achievement of key milestones
• Drive cost optimization through consolidation, standardization, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis
• Achieve sourcing targets, including savings goals, through effective supplier evaluation and negotiation of contracts with Legal alignment
• Analyze market trends, supplier landscape, and spend data to identify cost drivers and value opportunities
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships, including performance management and continuous improvement initiatives
• Engage stakeholders across OpCos, ensure effective communication/reporting, and lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team

REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive experience in Fit-Out category procurement within large organizations, managing complex sourcing activities and high-value negotiations
• Strong expertise in spend analysis, procurement strategy development, and cost optimization initiatives
• Solid understanding of procurement best practices, processes, systems, and governance frameworks
• Knowledge of contract management, legal terms, and local regulations, with ability to assess business and legal risks
• Proficiency in e-sourcing tools and ERP systems (Oracle, Ariba, Coupa), with Shared Services procurement exposure as an advantage
• 15–17 years of procurement experience (7–10 years in similar roles) with relevant certifications (CIPS/APICS) and a bachelor’s degree; MBA/Arabic is a plus
