Orange Business is here!
About us

Join us at Orange Business!

We are a network and digital integrator that understands the entire value chain of the digital world, freeing our customers to focus on the strategic initiatives that shape their business.

Every day, you will collaborate with a team dedicated to providing consistent, sustainable global solutions, no matter where our customers operate. With over 30,000 employees across Asia, the Americas, Africa, and Europe, we offer a dynamic environment to develop and perfect your skills in a field filled with exciting challenges and opportunities.

About the role

As a Senior Security Change Expert within Orange Cyber Defense, you will be the technical authority responsible for planning, reviewing, and implementing security changes across our clients' network infrastructures. You will work closely with incident management, architecture, and operations teams to ensure that every change — from firewall policy updates to network access control modifications — is executed with precision and full traceability. You will also play a leadership role in shaping change processes, mentoring junior engineers, and driving continuous improvement in how security changes are managed across the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning the end-to-end lifecycle of security changes, from request assessment through implementation and post-change validation
  • Collaborating with incident management teams to handle emergency and expedited changes tied to active threats
  • Reviewing and approving change requests submitted by peers, ensuring technical accuracy and risk alignment
  • Maintaining and improving change management procedures, runbooks, and technical documentation
  • Acting as a technical escalation point for complex or high-risk network security changes

About you

You are a seasoned network security professional with deep hands-on expertise in implementing and managing security changes across complex enterprise environments. You thrive at the intersection of technical precision and operational discipline — someone who doesn't just understand firewall rules, network segmentation, and security policies, but knows how to execute changes safely, consistently, and with minimal risk to production environments. You bring a methodical mindset to every change, whether it's a critical hotfix at midnight or a planned infrastructure hardening. You are trusted by peers and leadership alike for your judgment, your thoroughness, and your ability to stay calm under pressure.

  • 7+ years of experience in network security engineering, with a strong focus on change implementation
  • Deep expertise in firewall management (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, or equivalent)
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, VPNs, segmentation, and zero-trust principles
  • Proven experience working within formal change management frameworks (ITIL or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical skills with a risk-focused approach to change assessment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French is a plus)

You bring passion, energy, taste for exploration and adaptability. You seek the opportunity to expand your knowledge and develop new skills.
