Senior Technical Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Professional Services organization and deliver VMware Cloud Foundation 9 (VCF) solutions for enterprise customers across multiple industries and geographies. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, validation, and support of VMware Cloud Foundation environments, working closely with Technical Leads, Architects, Project Managers, and customer teams to ensure successful project outcomes. 
 
You will participate in customer workshops, execute technical designs, troubleshoot complex issues, produce project documentation, and contribute to the successful delivery of modernization, migration, and private cloud initiatives. This role is ideal for a hands-on VMware professional who enjoys customer-facing delivery work, solving technical challenges, and continuously expanding their expertise across the VMware and Broadcom portfolio.

• Deliver VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) projects from implementation through validation and production handover. 
• Execute technical designs and implementation plans provided by Technical Leads and Architects. 
• Install, configure, validate, and troubleshoot VMware solutions within customer environments. 
• Participate in discovery workshops, technical discussions, and customer meetings. 
• Support the deployment and integration of VMware technologies, including VCF 9, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, VCF Operations, Automation, HCX, and VKS. 
• Perform health checks, upgrades, migrations, and operational optimization activities. 
• Produce and maintain project documentation, implementation guides, and knowledge transfer materials. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project delivery. 
• Collaborate with customer technical teams to ensure successful adoption and operational readiness. 
• Share technical knowledge and best practices with peers and junior consultants. 
• Support effort estimation, technical reviews, and pre-sales activities when required.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other related field

VMware Certified Professional – VMware Cloud Foundation (VCP-VCF) 
VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) 
VMware vSphere Kubernetes Service (VKS) Certifications 
Other VMware or Broadcom certifications relevant to VMware Cloud Foundation 
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) 
Other Kubernetes and cloud-native certifications are considered advantageous

• 8+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting VMware infrastructure solutions. 
• Strong practical experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF). Experience with VCF 9 is highly desirable. 
• Solid expertise across VMware technologies, including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, VMware Aria Suite, HCX, VMware Live Recovery, and VKS. 
• Experience participating in enterprise infrastructure modernization, migration, or cloud transformation projects. 
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across VMware environments. 
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Technical Leads, Architects, Project Managers, and customer teams. 
• Strong customer-facing communication and consulting skills. 
• Excellent documentation and knowledge-transfer capabilities. 
• Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
