We're looking for a Software Engineer II, iOS to join Procore's Mobile team. In this role, you'll contribute to the development, quality, and delivery of our iOS mobile applications that help construction teams manage projects and jobsite safety. This position reports into the Engineering Manager, Mobile Project Management Quality and Safety and will be based in our Cairo, Egypt office. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you'll do:

Design, build, and implement reliable and high-quality features across our iOS applications
Apply and maintain established iOS architectural patterns and industry best practices within the codebase
Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high standards of code quality
Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA to understand user needs and translate them into effective technical implementations
Identify and resolve bugs, technical debt, and performance bottlenecks within your scope of work
Contribute to ongoing improvements in application performance, reliability, and maintainability
Support the full lifecycle of feature delivery, including testing, deployment, and production support
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years building native iOS applications with Swift and Objective-C
Broad, deep understanding of iOS architecture (CoreData, SwiftUI, UIKit) and experience with MVC and MVVM design patterns
Strong understanding of multi-threading, concurrent programming, memory management, and performance optimization
Proven track record shipping complex, high-quality software products at scale
Experience leading large technical initiatives with the ability to course-correct as needed
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across teams
Self-directed, with sound judgment on when to escalate versus resolve independently
