Job Description Position Summary Responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining accurate technical drawings and documentation in support of Structural project design, construction, and execution activities.
Produces detailed Structural drawings based on design specifications, engineering inputs, and project requirements, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance with applicable standards and contract documents.
Supports Structural technical and project teams by creating shop drawings and as-built drawings, coordinated throughout the project lifecycle, from construction to project handover.
Key Responsibilities Lead the communication and the coordination between the project and the internal Authoring Technical team.
Support the technical team to provide detailed Structural drawings, layouts, steel & rebar detailing, sections, Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) preparation, and schedules based on approved designs, specifications, inline with instructions from the Technical Manager.
Develop and update construction drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings as required by the project.
Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and authority requirements.
Coordinate drawing information with multidisciplinary teams (Architectural, MEP, BIM, etc.
) to avoid clashes and inconsistencies.
Revise and update drawings based on review comments, RFIs, site conditions, and design changes.
Maintain proper drawing version control and ensure timely issuance of approved drawings.
Support the preparation of technical submissions and documentation packages.
Assist in resolving technical discrepancies by reflecting approved solutions accurately in drawings.
Prepare as-built documentation reflecting site-installed conditions.
Follow project drafting standards, templates, naming conventions, and CAD/BIM protocols.
Maintain organized drawing records in accordance with project and contract requirements.
Support quality assurance procedures by ensuring drawing accuracy and completeness prior to submission.
Requirements Educational Qualification Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering Technology.
Job-Specific Skills / Abilities Architectural, Structural Design & MEP co-ordination related skills.
Software skills: Auto-cad, BIM Revit, ACC, Microsoft Word, Excel.
Experience Minimum 8 years’ experience.
