Work Schedule:


Our school operates on a four-day week, Monday through Thursday. Teachers are on-site from 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM each school day. This schedule totals approximately 32 hours per week and is considered a part-time position.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement engaging, hands-on math and science lessons rooted in inquiry and real-world application
  • Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports both independence and collaboration
  • Assess student progress using a variety of methods, including standardized tools, and provide individualized support
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners
  • Support students in developing agency, time management, and ownership of their learning
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with families regarding student progress and classroom experiences
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

Key Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree required (Education, Math, Science, or related field)
  • Teaching certification or eligibility to receive one
  • Experience teaching math and/or science at the upper elementary or middle school level (Grades 4–8)
  • Demonstrated experience with project-based and/or inquiry-based learning
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, including working with gifted and diverse learners
