How You Will Contribute

In this position, you will be working with our Clinical Research team. For more information, please visit ITC I Red Nucleus.

Job Overview

iTakeControl is a clinical trial platform supporting live studies within a validated, GxP-compliant environment. We are bringing the platform fully in-house and building the team that will own and grow it.

We are looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager to own delivery and be the bridge between the business and the engineering team. You will balance two priorities: coordinating the delivery of the platform to clients — including configuring and launching new clinical studies — and driving the ongoing development of the product. The immediate focus is keeping client delivery running smoothly; as that settles into a steady cadence, the role grows to take on more of the process governance-Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.

This is a delivery-accountable role for someone who can translate between business and technical teams, keep priorities clear, and make sure the right work ships at the right time. It works closely with US-based stakeholders and requires daily overlap with US hours.

What You'll Own

  • Client delivery — own the end-to-end delivery and configuration of the platform for clients, getting new studies live and supported on time and within compliance
  • Product delivery — own the team's delivery rhythm: prioritization, planning, and release coordination for the core platform in collaboration with the Product management team
  • The bridge — intake the feature requirements, enhancement requests from product team and create the realistic development plan in collaboration with the engineering team, and keep both sides aligned on what comes first and why
  • Priority calls — make and communicate the trade-offs when client delivery and product work compete for the same people
  • Delivery health — track and report progress using meaningful flow metrics, and surface risks early with options
  • Process efficiency - As the engineering team matures, build efficiency KPIs for teams’ delivery and quality performance.

You will partner closely with the Technical Lead, who owns technical direction; this role owns coordination and delivery.

What We're Looking For

Experience and Mindset

  • 7+ years managing software delivery, with a strong track record of shipping on time
  • Proven experience owning client-facing delivery or implementation — not only internal product work
  • Strong agile background, with the judgement to choose and adapt the right approach for the team rather than applying one framework by rote (we are not tied to a single methodology)
  • Comfortable managing multiple concurrent priorities and competing deadlines
  • A natural translator between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, who can negotiate realistic plans between the two
  • Strong ownership instincts — accountable for outcomes, not just facilitation
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills — builds trust quickly across clients, leadership, and the engineering team, and keeps everyone informed and aligned
  • Stays composed under pressure — keeps a clear head and a steady hand when priorities collide, deadlines tighten, or issues escalate, and brings the team along calmly
  • Clear, honest communicator who brings problems forward early

Clinical and Regulatory

  • Life sciences background is essential — experience delivering software in clinical trials, healthcare IT, pharma, medical devices, or an equivalent regulated environment
  • Understanding of what it means to deliver within a validated, GxP-compliant system — change control, data integrity, and the discipline a regulated environment demands

Technical Fluency

  • Enough technical fluency to coordinate engineering work credibly — understand dependencies, ask the right questions, and challenge estimates (you do not need to write code)
  • Comfortable with standard delivery and collaboration tooling, and open to AI-assisted tools that speed up planning and reporting

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • 7+ years in software project / delivery management, including client-facing delivery and/or Scrum Master roles
  • 3+ years leading delivery for an engineering team
  • 3+ years within regulated or validated software environments (clinical, GxP, FDA, HIPAA, or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
  • Agile and/or project management certification (CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, PMP, or equivalent) a plus
  • Experience in enterprise Agile transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD processes.
  • Direct experience with a clinical trial / patient engagement / eCOA platform preferred

*This job description captures the essential functions of this role as of July 2026. Management reserves the right to modify it as the platform and team evolve.*

  • Comprehensive benefits and wellness programs focused on healthy lifestyles
  • Generous paid time off, employee assistance programs and flexible work arrangements
  • Performance driven environment including professional development and transfer opportunities
  • People first culture fostering self expression, diversity, and a growth mindset
  • Celebrations! We love to celebrate service anniversaries, holidays, diversity and inclusion events, project milestones and anything else that is meaningful to our employees
  • Support of the community organizations you are passionate about
  • Ongoing programs and events designed to bring our global team together
