Position Detail


To assist and support the Data Integrity and Quality Assurance Team in London by checking of Borrowers Rating, Credit Application expiry, Covenant and Condition, Instruction and Reports Required updates and monitoring for GCIB to ensure they are conducted in line with internal rules and procedures.


Roles and Responsibilities


Assist in the smooth centralization of all Quality Assurance related tasks into this team, ensuring a consistent approach is applied to all areas within GCIB Conduct the assurance testing for Borrower Ratings, Credit application expiry, covenant receipts, amendments and inputs as well as Conditions and Instructions updates, extensions and completion. Report on findings to London team / management on a regular basis Assist with the roll out of training to members of Business Support to raise awareness of the issues that have been identified. Build relationships throughout MUFG Bank to establish a peer network, gather relevant information and help to ensure effective interactive inter-departmental collaboration. Develop a good understanding of all relevant procedures and core systems including GCARS, OVS, and nCino. Perform QA checks for Borrower rating, approvals across all the product areas in GCARS Perform QA checks relating to other tasks but not limited to Aviation Insurance, the completion of various exposure and RCF utilization reports On a semi-annual basis complete and 2nd check the Form 270 Variable Interest Entity (VIE) report, obtaining Total Asset and Paid in Capital figures from our borrowers Balance Sheets Undertake various administrative and adhoc tasks assigned.


Job Requirements


Functional / Technical Competencies:


  • Good understanding of banking products
  • 4+ years Banking/Financial background experience
  • Experience working within a QA support team in the Financial Services sector
  • A Level and/or relevant work experience

Work/Skills Experience:


  • Loan Documentation and Information and Financial Covenant Monitoring Experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
