Responsible for people management, including acquiring talent, developing and retaining colleagues worldwide, and overseeing key programs like compensation, benefits, diversity and colleague and labor relations.
This role will support key components of the Business Continuity Management program across CEG. The colleague will assist with Business Continuity Planning activities, annual Business Impact Analysis recertification, audit support, regulatory requests, program documentation, and ongoing compliance with enterprise Business Continuity Management requirements.
The successful candidate will partner with business contacts, relationship leads, process owners, and risk partners to help coordinate deliverables, track progress, maintain documentation, and support a strong control and continuity environment. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, eager to learn, and comfortable supporting multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Support key contacts across CEG in maintaining and enhancing the Business Continuity program for the business unit.
• Assist with the annual Business Impact Analysis recertification process, including stakeholder outreach, data gathering, tracking completion, reviewing inputs, and escalating gaps as needed.
• Support Business Continuity Planning exercises, Global Risk Assessments, and related program activities by coordinating materials, tracking actions, and maintaining program documentation.
• Assist with Service Continuity audits, regulatory requests, and evidence collection to support timely and accurate responses.
• Help monitor compliance with applicable AXP Management Policies, standards, and Business Continuity Management program requirements.
• Coordinate with Business Partners, Relationship Leads, process owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to support continuity-related projects and deliverables.
• Maintain process documentation, procedures, trackers, status reports, and other artifacts required to support program governance.
• Analyze information from multiple sources to identify documentation gaps, process inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support control monitoring, testing, and remediation activities related to business continuity and operational risk processes.
• Provide clear updates on assigned deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Help bring structure and organization to evolving workstreams by documenting actions, timelines, owners, and next steps.
• 2+ years of relevant experience or exposure in Business Continuity Planning, risk management, compliance, operations, process improvement, internal controls, audit, or a related analytical field.
• Experience supporting Business Continuity, risk, control, audit, governance, or operational excellence activities is preferred.
• Exposure to compliance, risk management, internal control frameworks, or operational risk processes, such as Risk and Control Self-Assessment.
• Interest in learning and supporting Business Continuity programs, including BCP exercises, Business Impact Analysis activities, risk assessments, audit support, and program governance.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track details, and follow through on deliverables.
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new processes, tools, risk concepts, and business areas.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with partners across teams and geographies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to synthesize information from multiple inputs.
• Comfortable working in dynamic or ambiguous environments and able to help create structure through documentation, tracking, and clear communication.
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and ad hoc tasks.
• Proficient Excel, PowerPoint, and querying skills are essential.
• Familiarity with process mapping tools and governance, risk, and compliance platforms such as ServiceNow and Archer is preferred.
