Application Development Senior Analyst

About the Role

You will contribute to the design, development, and support of business-critical applications and database solutions. In this role, you will help deliver reliable technology outcomes, solve complex technical challenges, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment where priorities may evolve.

You will work independently on day-to-day development activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements, resolve production issues, and support strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain application and database solutions that support business objectives.
• Analyze complex technical challenges and recommend effective, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions.
• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement durable resolutions that improve system stability.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver enhancements and project outcomes aligned with organizational priorities.
• Contribute to project planning, estimation, and progress tracking to ensure successful delivery.
• Apply source code management and release management practices to maintain quality and consistency across deployments.
• Anticipate risks, manage competing priorities, and resolve non-routine issues that require technical judgment and ownership.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• Solid experience in application development and database programming within enterprise environments.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience presenting technical analysis and recommendations in a business-focused context.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects or system enhancements.
