Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Architecture & Design

• Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure OCI-based solutions.
• Develop cloud architecture blueprints, reference architectures, and best practices.
• Assess existing infrastructure and define migration strategies to OCI.
• Architect multi-region and disaster recovery solutions.

OCI Infrastructure Management

• Design and manage OCI services including: Compute Instances Virtual Cloud Networks (VCN) Load Balancers Object Storage Block & File Storage OCI IAM OCI DNS OCI Monitoring & Logging OCI Security Services
• Optimize infrastructure performance, availability, and costs.

Security & Compliance

• Implement OCI security best practices and governance frameworks.
• Design Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and controls.
• Configure security zones, cloud guard, WAF, and encryption solutions.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Migration & Modernization

• Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises or other cloud platforms to OCI.
• Define migration approaches for databases, applications, and middleware.
• Support modernization and cloud-native transformation programs.

Automation & DevOps

• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using: Terraform OCI Resource Manager Ansible
• Integrate OCI services with CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and operational tasks.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with enterprise architects, project managers, and business units.
• Provide technical leadership and architecture guidance.
• Conduct architecture reviews and technical workshops.

Required SkillsTechnical Skills

• Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Experience with: OCI Networking OCI Compute & Storage OCI Identity & Access Management (IAM) OCI Security Services OCI Monitoring & Observability
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts: VPN FastConnect Routing Load Balancing DNS
• Experience with Linux and Windows administration.
• Knowledge of containers and Kubernetes (OKE preferred).
• Experience implementing HA and Disaster Recovery architectures.

Database Knowledge

• Oracle Database Administration concepts.
• Experience with: Autonomous Database Exadata Cloud Service Oracle RAC Oracle Data Guard GoldenGate (preferred)

DevOps & Automation

• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
• Scripting using Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
