Job Objective To align & drive the Human resources function along with the business objectives / goals and provide a competitive & sustainable HR framework for the unit.
To develop people capabilities in the unit by selecting, retaining, & compensating the best talent in the unit.
To build a learning organization culture & to foster a healthy climate for career enhancements & employee aspirations in the unit Essential Job Tasks Areas of Responsibility •Maintaining the Human Resources Management Systems (SAP SuccessFactors) by updating the data of employees from recruitment to resignation.
•Communicating the necessary payroll details of employees from hiring to separation (Increments, final payments, gratuity payments etc…) •Maintain HR records, reports, and payroll-related documentation.
•Preparation of reports (Headcount, gender diversity, exit interview review etc.
..) on every month end and when required.
•Employee cadre management and making advertisements to fill in the available vacancies according to the requirement of the management.
•Handling the staff medical and life insurance procedures.
•Preparation of appointment letters, promotions, re-designations, service letters etc… •Conducting the reference check with an external background verification agent, preparation and submission of necessary documents as per their requirement.
•Assist in creating policies as per the requirement of the Human Resources Manager.
•Assist Human Resources Manager to organize and conduct staff engagement initiatives with great success.
Required Qualifications •Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management.
•Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
•Knowledge of Sri Lankan labour laws and HR best practices.
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
Work Experience 3-5 years of work experience Languages Needed in Position Should be fluent in English and preferably the Regional dialect.
