Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager specializing in U.S. partnership taxation for private equity structures. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in partnership tax compliance and advisory, with a strong understanding of private equity funds, management companies, and general partners
What you'll do


  • You prepare and review U.S. federal and state partnership tax returns (Form 1065), corporation tax returns (Form 1120), related schedules (K-1, K-2/K-3), and supporting tax workpapers for private equity funds, management companies, and GPs.
  • You manage tax compliance activities, including quarterly and annual tax estimates, extensions, and timely, accurate tax filings while maintaining high-quality documentation and internal controls.
  • You provide technical guidance on partnership allocations, basis calculations, carried interest, tax planning strategies, and evolving U.S. tax regulations, IRS guidance, and legislative changes.
  • You drive continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities, enhancing process efficiencies, and implementing best practices across tax compliance and reporting activities.
  • You effectively manage workloads and deadlines, proactively communicate risks or planning changes, exercise sound judgment in escalating issues, take ownership of professional development, and support broader business needs as required.

Qualifications

About you


  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with 7+ years of experience in U.S. partnership taxation focused on private equity; a CA, CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
  • You possess strong technical expertise in Subchapter K, partnership allocations, and related tax regulations, with proficiency in GoSystem (or similar tax software), advanced Excel, Microsoft Office, and tax research and problem-solving.
  • You demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively, communicate professionally, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • You can efficiently manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, work under pressure, and consistently deliver accurate, high-quality results with strong attention to detail.
  • You are a proactive, goal-oriented professional with strong accountability, integrity, reliability, discipline, positivity, and work ethics, and are flexible to work U.S. shifts.
