We are seeking a highly motivated Electronics Hardware Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in electronic circuit design, product development, testing, and validation. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting hardware solutions from concept to production while ensuring compliance with quality, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts, and manufacturing documentation using EDA tools.
• Perform circuit simulations, component selection, and design optimization.
• Develop and execute hardware verification and validation plans.
• Conduct debugging, root cause analysis, and failure investigations for hardware issues.
• Support prototype builds, board bring-up, and product qualification testing.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams.
• Review hardware designs for reliability, manufacturability, and cost optimization.
• Analyze test results and implement corrective actions.
• Support regulatory and compliance testing such as EMC/EMI, Safety, CE, UL, and IEC standards.
• Provide technical support for sustaining engineering activities and field issues.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and project planning activities.
• Strong understanding of:
o Analog and digital circuit design
o Power supply design (SMPS, DC-DC converters)
o Microcontrollers and peripheral interfaces
o Signal integrity and PCB design principles
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools such as:
o Altium Designer
o OrCAD
o Cadence
o KiCad (preferred)
• Knowledge of communication protocols:
o UART
o SPI
o I2C
o CAN
o RS485
• Proficiency in using laboratory instruments:
o Oscilloscope
o Function Generator
o Spectrum Analyzer
o Power Analyzer
o Multimeter
Preferred Skills
• Experience with EMC/EMI troubleshooting and compliance testing.
• Exposure to embedded firmware development and debugging.
• Knowledge of DFM, DFA, and DFMEA methodologies.
• Understanding of industrial, automotive, aerospace, or lighting product development standards.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and change management processes.
• Experience in failure analysis and root cause investigations.
