Roles and Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and deploy AVEVA MES solutions for manufacturing and industrial automation projects.
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for AVEVA MES and provide technical guidance to internal teams and customers.
Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable MES solution designs.
Configure and customize AVEVA MES modules including Operations, Performance, Quality, Track & Trace, and Recipe Management.
Develop and maintain applications using AVEVA System Platform and OMI.
Integrate MES solutions with PLCs, SCADA systems, historians, ERP systems, and third-party applications.
Design secure, reliable, and high-performing industrial automation architectures.
Implement alarming, notification, monitoring, and reporting solutions for manufacturing operations.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing MES environments to improve productivity and system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including automation engineers, software developers, plant operations teams, and project stakeholders.
Follow industry standards, cybersecurity best practices, and automation governance frameworks.
Support system testing, commissioning, deployment, and post-production support activities.

Technical Requirements

Extensive experience with AVEVA MES (Operations, Performance & Quality).
Strong expertise in AVEVA System Platform application development and configuration.
Hands-on experience with AVEVA OMI (Operations Management Interface).
Strong understanding of MES architecture, system design, and industrial automation principles.
Experience in manufacturing execution system implementation and deployment.
Knowledge of production workflows, manufacturing operations, quality management, and performance tracking.
Experience integrating industrial devices and automation systems using protocols such as:
OPC UA/DA
EtherNet/IP (ABCIP)
Modbus TCP (MBTCP)
MQTT
REST APIs
