Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our market share for Microsoft Azure solutions within Tech Data Advanced Private Limited. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional value.
Job Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic business development plans for Microsoft Azure services, aligning with company goals and market trends.
* Identify and qualify new business opportunities and accounts for Azure solutions across various industries.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
* Conduct in-depth needs analysis and present tailored Azure solutions that address client challenges and deliver measurable business outcomes.
* Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting and proposal generation to negotiation and contract closure.
* Collaborate closely with technical pre-sales, solutions architects, and delivery teams to ensure seamless client engagement and successful project implementation.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft Azure services, features, and competitive landscape.
* Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on business development activities.
* Represent Tech Data Advanced Private Limited at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of proven business development or sales experience, specifically with Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.
* Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving significant revenue growth for cloud services.
* Deep understanding of the Microsoft Azure platform, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, data services, security, and networking.
* Strong understanding of the cloud computing market, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Proven ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and negotiate effectively at all levels.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
