Job Title: C295 Customer Inspection, Configuration Control & Documentation Manager




Job Description:



Customer facing role, willing to learn and improve documentation and processes. The person selected for the job position will be responsible for:



  • contributing to investigations and root cause analysis into reported quality / quality technical issues from the business team and customer.



  • ensuring appropriate containment and archiving, corrective and curative action is taken by the accountable function through multifunctional teams.



  • performing Quality Inspections as per defined standards, Final Check and Attestation, Stop Points, Out of sequence work, including critical activities (when not delegated).



  • actively participating in process improvements.



  • preparing, reviewing and delivering Aircraft documentation to the customer.



  • managing and reviewing Constituent Assembly Inspection Reports (CAIR) / Aircraft Inspection Report (AIR) status to follow up configuration status at aircraft level.



  • providing visibility of aircraft conformity status for main milestones (customer acceptance manual flights, delivery, ferry).



  • attesting Modifications as Quality profile.



  • collecting & analysing aircraft maintenance status during the production phase. 




Main Accountability:



  • Inspect, attest and conduct surveillance



  • Conduct Problem solving



  • Prevent Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD)



  • Manage Non conformities as appropriate



  •  Be the go-to person on the shop floor for Quality issues



  • Carry out Improvement, Prediction and Coaching as appropriate



  • Ensure that the aircraft built status is in line with "as-defined" aircraft



  • Detect , analyse and solve any discrepancies at aircraft level in strong coordination with internal departments



  • Check the conformity status of the CAIRs / SAP/ Control Report integrated in the aircraft. 



  • Deliver on time and on quality the Attestation Report at every industrial milestone



  • Collect, control and provide to the aircraft conformity managers and aircraft certifying staff the Attestation Report and associated documents at every milestone



  • Support the Permit to Fly process



  • Collect all the Flight Operations Transfer documentation



  • Create aircraft documentation for delivery (Engine & Propeller Book)



  • Control the Aircraft Modification Status



  • Support during internal & external Audit



  • Prepare Aircraft Ferry Flight documentation.



  • Create the aircraft limit time components.



  • Control the aircraft maintenance program during part 21.



  • Control the Aircraft´s AOL (All Operators Letter) / AOT (Alert Operators Transmission) / SIL (Service Information Letter) / SB (Service Bulletin).



  • Support to the Authority on all issues related to configuration and documentation during the Final Assembly & Flight Line process.



  • Ensure the embodiment of new requirements received from the Authority.



  • Provide continuous support to Customer Services for delivered aircraft. 



  • Review the conformity of the product according to company procedures and following the applicable regulation, the authorities' requests and the contract requirements.



  • Manage KPIs. 



  • Promote quality and improve culture. 



  • Cascade and ensure lessons learned and Configuration Conformity Management & Documentation process optimization.



  • Drumbeat and pilot the conformity and attestation teams under his/her scope.




Requirements:



  • Aeronautical Engineer (or equivalent engineering qualification) is required



  • More than 5 years experience in Quality and/ or configuration control



  • Fluent English



  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred



  • Experience in C295 quality is preferred



  • Experience in Flight Line and Delivery Center is preferred



  • Familiar with Aircraft Inspection concepts



  • Familiar with Production Quality principles
