Experience:5 to 7 years of experience in Casting with Catia V5/V6
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and modify 3D models of cast components using CATIA V5.
  • Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings in CATIA V5 as per customer standards.
  • Apply GD&T and dimensional tolerances in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Interpret engineering specifications and customer requirements.
  • Implement engineering changes (ECR/ECN) and update CAD models and drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with design quality, drafting standards, and release procedures.
  • Participate in design reviews and resolve design-related issues.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams during product development.
Mandatory Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly Design, Drafting).
  • Strong experience in 3D Modeling of cast components.
  • Experience in 2D Drawing Creation using CATIA V5.
  • Good knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
  • Understanding of casting manufacturing processes and design considerations.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
