Job description

We are looking for Chemical Systems Engineer to join our India Engineering team for Chemical Systems Engineering in Pune. In this role, you will be involved in the design and execution of delivery projects related to chemical systems. You will work closely with other lead engineers, the automation department, project managers, and procurement to ensure that project objectives are met.


Main responsibilities


  • Carry out process piping and mechanical design for chemical systems within delivery projects.


  • Guide and supervise subcontracted engineering offices to ensure high-quality engineering deliverables.


  • Focus strongly on technical alignment and compliance with Markal manufacturing requirements.


  • Participate actively in site supervision and commissioning activities at various customer locations.


  • Support project execution across engineering disciplines, procurement, and client management.


  • Grow into a lead engineer role by managing separate, defined technical development projects.


Requirements


  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant technical field.


  • 6 - 8 years of relevant experience is required for this role.


  • Excellent hands-on technical skills and proven expertise using E3D design software tools.


  • Previous experience in process design, mechanical design, or chemical systems engineering.


  • Fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.


  • Strong teamwork skills, a proactive attitude, and a high willingness to learn.


  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to customer sites for project support.
