The Civil Engineer will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all civil construction activities to ensure the project is executed safely, within budget, on schedule, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role requires close coordination with contractors, consultants, project management teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of a large-scale redevelopment project.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of civil works.
  • Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and method statements before commencement of work.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed within the approved schedule and budget.
  • Inspect ongoing civil works to ensure compliance with quality standards, applicable codes, and project specifications.
  • Verify site measurements, quantities, and completed work for contractor billing and progress certification.
  • Ensure proper execution of RCC works, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing works, and external development activities.
  • Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, MEP, and BIM teams to resolve design and construction-related issues.
  • Monitor material quality, workmanship, and construction methods to ensure compliance with approved quality plans.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and identify non-conformities, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements during all construction activities.
  • Review and verify Requests for Inspection (RFI), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), and other quality documentation.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports highlighting construction status, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate with the Planning and Project Controls teams to monitor project milestones and identify potential delays.
  • Assist in resolving technical queries, site issues, and design changes in coordination with consultants and contractors.
  • Monitor contractor productivity and ensure adherence to contractual obligations and project timelines.
  • Support testing, commissioning, snagging, punch list closure, and final handover activities.
  • Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, material records, and as-built documentation.
  • Ensure effective coordination among all project disciplines to achieve timely and quality project delivery.
  • Perform any other engineering and site management duties assigned by the Project Manager or Construction Manager.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering


  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in relevant field.
