You will contribute to timely issue resolution, process execution, and operational reporting that supports client satisfaction and business performance.

What will you do?

  • Serve as the go-to escalation point for complex merchant onboarding, maintenance, and account-related issues.
  • Use strong process and product knowledge to support merchant acquiring activities and guide issue resolution.
  • Lead reviews of high-impact client issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Work closely with implementation, product, technology, risk, and client service teams to resolve escalated matters.
  • Support operational governance by reviewing trends, quality results, and opportunities to improve the process.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and procedural support to Grade 3 and Grade 4 associates.
  • Represent the team in business initiatives, process changes, and system enhancement discussions.
  • Help improve client experience by ensuring complex requests and escalations are resolved accurately and on time.

What will you need to know?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 3–5+ years of experience in merchant acquiring, payments, banking operations, client support, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of merchant services, onboarding, account maintenance, payment processing, and acquiring operations.
  • Experience managing escalations, complex account inquiries, and client-facing service issues.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work confidently across multiple systems, CRM platforms, and operational tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to balance competing priorities and drive issues through to resolution independently.
  • Working knowledge of operational controls, SLAs, and quality standards.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience supporting payment operations, card services, merchant services, or banking operations platforms.
  • Experience preparing operational reports and service metrics for internal stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating issue resolution across product, technology, and client service teams.
  • Ability to communicate issue status and operational impacts clearly to business partners and clients.
