Purpose of the role



To deliver high-quality investor access events, including non-deal roadshows, conferences and expert meetings. 




Accountabilities



  • Relationship management with IR and management teams at corporates as well as relevant contacts at key client counterparts, leveraging relationships with Companies to originate high quality opportunities for Corporate Access events that will connect Corporates with investing clients.
  • Planning, scheduling and coordination of investor access events such as non-deal roadshows, reverse roadshows, conferences and expert and ad hoc meetings.
  • Precise management and execution of Corporate Access events, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual setup, transportation, and on-site coordination, participant registration and attendee communications.

The Barclays Corporate Access Desk seeks to increase the overall quantity and quality of corporate and investor interactions. The team interfaces with multiple constituencies within the Firm, i.e. Sales and Trading, Research, Syndicate and Banking, as well as external, i.e. investment community and corporate clients. The individual will work as an integral part of the CA team.




To be successful in Corporate Access team you should have:



  • The analyst will work closely with sector specialists who focus on specific sectors and are responsible for all corporate access activity related to each sector, including but not limited to, roadshows, conferences, field trips and special events.



  • Execution of Corporate Access and Analyst Marketing events, ensuring a seamless experience across both in-person and virtual formats.



  • Prepare marketing materials, including (but not limited to) pitch books/presentations, shareholder analysis, bespoke trip layouts and feedback documents for corporate clients.



  • Helping to build a dynamic investor data base pulling from internal resources as well as gathering information from external data bases as well to help with pitches, and shareholder targeting exercises.



  • Communicate with various business units within the bank to obtain market intelligence, maintain connectivity and gather content regarding the markets and the sectors.



  • Key liaison with multiple stakeholders for event planning and execution process like: Research analysts, Sales, Event Compliance



  • Working knowledge / ability to quickly learn Barclays systems and tools like FactSet, BigDough, SAP BO

  • Helping to create processes around event execution and event compliance to speed up execution process while ensuring risk and controls are taken care of



  • Work with Analytics teams to create avenues for automation within client consumption reporting for executed events and new event origination ideas



  • Build a strong working relationship and gain an understanding of the institutional investment community through interaction with sector specialists, research analysts, salespeople, sales-traders, traders, buy-side customers, investment banking capital markets, and corporate teams.
