Job Summary**
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team at FLSmidth A/S. In this role, you will be instrumental in protecting our digital assets, identifying and responding to security threats, and ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our information systems across a global enterprise.
Job Responsibilities**
* Monitor security systems and tools for alerts, anomalies, and potential security incidents.
* Perform in-depth analysis of security events, logs, and network traffic to identify and investigate threats.
* Respond to security incidents, including incident containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis.
* Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems and applications.
* Develop and implement security controls, policies, and procedures to enhance our security posture.
* Collaborate with IT operations and development teams to integrate security best practices into our infrastructure and software development lifecycle.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
* Assist in security awareness training for employees.
* Maintain documentation of security incidents, analyses, and configurations.
* Participate in security audits and compliance initiatives.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably within a corporate environment.
* Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
* Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.
* Experience with incident response methodologies and forensic analysis.
* Knowledge of common cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
* Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CySA+, or similar are a plus.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
