About The Role
As a Data Engineer, you will:



  • Actively engage in design and implement robust ETL/ELT workflows and pipelines using DBT, Alteryx Contribute to the strategy, development and architecture of data management systems, data models etc.
  • Code, test and document new/modified systems to create robust applications for data analysis
  • Ingest and transform both structured and unstructured data, keeping in mind data security and access controls
  • Build solutions to help data scientists and visualization experts and proactively troubleshoot issues Seamlessly work with various business stakeholders, understand their needs and design custom solutions
  • Work well within a team and collaborates with colleagues across domains and geographies
  • Document and maintain data standards adhering to best practices and maintaining data governance processes


About you
You are an ideal fit for the role of Data Engineer, if your background includes:



  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems
  • 3 - 4 years of total work experience with at least 2 years in the data engineering domain
  • Strong skills in querying languages like SQL, NoSQL to work with RDBMS & Non-Relational Databases
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, DBT (Data Build Tool), Amazon Web Services (like S3, EC2, Glue etc.) for building the data pipelines
  • Experience in data ingestion, transformation techniques using ETL/ELT tools like Alteryx, DBT
  • Fair understanding of Data Governance Process, Data Security best practices including Row-Level Security (RLS), Column-Level Security (CLS), and any other access control techniques
  • Experience in database design, optimize data pipelines and workflows for performance and scalability
  • Working experience in migrating data from various source systems to the cloud enterprise Data Lake (AWS/Snowflake)
  • Knowledge of tools like Alation, Tableau, Power BI
  • Excellent communications skills with the right attitude/personality of a team player
  • Emotional maturity and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Skills of articulating complex results in a simple and concise manner to all levels within the organization
