The project:


We have an exciting opportunity for a Desktop Publisher to join our Design team in Gurgaon. As a remote-based Desktop Publisher (bidding) you will work as part of a global design team of presentation and document publishing specialists, responsible for producing high-quality bid collateral in line with Mace Consult brand guidelines and business strategy.


You will combine your level of proficiency in both MS Office and Adobe products, with a creative approach to content layout, pitch decks and template design while being flexible and resilient within tight timeframes.


You’ll be responsible for:


  • Use publishing software such as Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to create page layouts for print or electronic publication.
  • Import text and graphics into publishing software, integrating images, infographics, and content to create cohesive layouts.
  • Select formatting properties, such as text size, column width, and spacing.
  • Work with proofed documents to make corrections and take in mark-ups.
  • Gather existing materials and work with designers and writers to create engaging content.
  • Desktop publish large volume workstreams of bid related material including CVs, project profiles and bid documentation.
  • Providing advanced formatting support for PowerPoint pitch decks, designing slides to convey key messages.
  • Assist with the creation of complex infographics and visuals.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required.

You’ll need to have:


  • Degree qualification is essential with 2-5 years experience.
  • Experienced at an intermediate level in Microsoft Office programmes (PowerPoint and Word) including developing and using company templates within these programs.
  • Good understanding of design, typesetting and the layout of complex information with some experience in review and sign off processes.
  • Intermediate level experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.
