Purpose of the Role:
We are looking for 3 Digital Learning Content Designers to join the People function on an indefinite basis. The role will be based from Noida in India.
The Digital Learning Content Designer plays a key role in supporting the British Council’s enterprise-wide skills strategy. You will report to the Skills & Capability Digital Lead and this role is responsible for designing and developing engaging, learner-centric digital content that supports priority capability development and compliance training across the organisation.
The Digital Learning Content Designer role sits within the Organisational Design & Development team, part of the Talent and Organisational Development pillar of the People Function. This role works closely with colleagues across the People Function and business units to ensure learning content is aligned with strategic priorities and supports the transformation of learning across the British Council.
Accountabilities.
• Design and develop digital learning content that supports the enterprise-wide skills strategy
• Collaborate with the Skills & Capability Digital Lead to translate strategic priorities into engaging learning experiences.
• Ensure all content is aligned with the British Council’s digital learning ecosystem and platform standards.
• Support the development of learning products focused on priority capabilities such as digital fluency and data literacy
• Accountable for design and maintenance of agreed digital compliance training products.
• Apply instructional design principles and multimedia tools to create learner-centric content.
• Maintain and update content on digital learning platforms (LMS/LXP) to ensure relevance and accessibility.
• Use learner feedback and analytics to continuously improve digital learning content.
• Contribute to the lifecycle management of British Council-specific learning products.
• Champion inclusive and accessible design practices in all learning content.
• Support cross-functional initiatives related to DEI, talent mobility, and performance through content design.
