- Day to day tasks include support on concept design to detail design development, tender development and or construction level of Electrical design and assistance for the Project and multi–Discipline Engineers. Coordination with regional leads.
- Preferable of Design drawing experience in Water sectors (WTP/WWTP/Pumping stations etc.) for heavy (Process Industries/ Manufacturing) industrial and water utility projects.
- The designer will be responsible for development of electrical drawings and design as per the project needs and requirements.
- As an Electrical designer, it should be expected that the designer will be responsible for Work as a team member with professional engineers to coordinate and to produce engineering drawings and development of various electrical layouts, schematic, SLD etc. using different design tools and software such as Revit MEP, AutoCad etc.
- As an Electrical designer, it should be expected that the duties will be flexible, providing design assistance for multiple projects.
- Hands of experience understanding process and instruments drawings (P&ID) will be added advantage.
- Understanding of the Vendor submittal drawings and documents and its review.
- Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time by supervisor/management.
- Need to work off-hours for client co-ordination: Occasionally
Qualifications for Internal Candidates
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
- 3 to 6 years of experience
- Hands-on experience of REVIT MEP, AutoCad. Knowledge of BIM360 and NAVISWORKS will be an added advantage.
- Have excellent data manipulation abilities (MS Excel/MS Access database type packages)
- Competent level of baseline skills, i.e., professional, and confident with the essential, good business and communication skills that are required for career growth in all positions
- Rigorous attention to detail, able to understand and adopt workflows and commitment to personal professional development.
- Flexible to learn and develop new skills such as learning and using of MicroStation, Elecdes software etc.
