Key Responsibilities


  • Work as the ETH Switch Architect within the Platform department, contributing to the development of Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MBOS)
  • Drive strategic direction for platform-relevant Ethernet Switch components and activities
  • Understand ETH Switch requirements and provide technical direction to ECU development teams
  • Participate in ECU integration discussions and provide inputs for ETH Switch integration topics
  • Orchestrate Ethernet Switch design decisions across different feature verticals to ensure consistency, robustness, and scalability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Provide architectural recommendations and solutions aligned with overall platform strategy

Required Skills and Experience


  • Strong knowledge and experience in AUTOSAR architecture and module interactions
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR ETH Switch stack integration, including configuration of communication stacks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet); preferably using Vector stack
  • Strong programming and debugging skills in Embedded C
  • Proficient with CANoe tool and its application in ECU validation
  • Comfortable working with large codebases, including hands-on quick prototyping and experimentation
  • Rich experience in AUTOSAR implementation using Vector and Elektrobit (EB) stacks, tools, and methodologies
  • Solid understanding of various automotive communication protocols – CAN, FlexRay, LIN, and Ethernet
  • Experience working with various microcontrollers in embedded environments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive mindset with high ownership and self-motivation
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Educational Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline
  • Additional certifications (if any): [e.g., AUTOSAR stack training, Embedded Systems certifications]

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)


  • Experience working on Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MBOS) related projects
  • Familiarity with Daimler-specific tools and processes
  • Experience in platform-level architecture in large automotive ECU environments
  • Exposure to international R&D collaborations and distributed engineering teams
