You'll have significant autonomy, work directly with the Finance Controller on strategic decisions, and be part of a rapidly scaling organisation.
This role offers exposure to multi-jurisdictional finance operations and the opportunity to grow with the company.
• Review and approve payment transactions set up by junior finance staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage all accounts payable activities: invoice matching, accruals, reconciliations, and payment authorisation.
• Process and reconcile expense claims across all jurisdictions.
• Review monthly payroll data and liaison with external payroll accountant; verify accuracy and flag discrepancies.
• Execute month-end close activities: intercompany reconciliation, journal entries, ledger balancing, and reporting support.
• Manage multi-currency transactions, FX conversion, and ensure correct treatment of intercompany charges.
• Prepare financial reports, analysis, and documentation as requested, including month-end reporting packs, variance analysis, cash position summaries, and ad-hoc financial information as required.
• Deputising for the FC as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications- • Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, or ACA) with minimum 7-10 years' post-qualification experience in a similar accounting role.
• Expert proficiency in Xero accounting software.
• Demonstrated experience with multi-national environment and foreign exchange.
• Practical knowledge of intercompany reconciliation and month end closing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; self-directed, proactive problem-solver.
