Job description

This is a high-impact Individual Contributor role with end-to-end accountability for the Revenue, Bookings, P&L, and Margin performance of assigned Lines of Business (LOBs) and regions. The role is responsible for driving forecasting excellence through data-driven insights, automation, and AI-enabled planning capabilities using Oracle technologies. As a trusted finance business partner, the incumbent will collaborate closely with business leaders to improve forecast accuracy, influence strategic decisions, and deliver actionable financial insights that support business growth.


The role provides comprehensive financial support through planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business performance management, enabling informed decision-making and long-term business success.


Key Responsibilities


Forecasting and Financial Management


  • Own the end-to-end Bookings and Revenue forecasting process for assigned Lines of Business and regions.
  • Develop and maintain driver-based forecasting models, run-rate analyses, and predictive forecasting methodologies to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning activities.
  • Analyze actual performance against forecasts, budgets, and prior-year results, identifying key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Deliver actionable financial insights and strategic recommendations to support executive decision-making.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial forecasts and reporting.


Strategic Business Partnership


  • Partner closely with business leaders to understand revenue drivers, business priorities, operational initiatives, and strategic objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor by providing data-driven recommendations and challenging assumptions constructively.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear business insights that support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Influence business outcomes through proactive financial planning and performance management.


Automation and Process Excellence


  • Lead automation initiatives to simplify and optimize forecasting, planning, and reporting processes.
  • Standardize forecasting methodologies, financial models, and reporting practices across Lines of Business and regions.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to eliminate manual effort, improve efficiency, and enhance data quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging Oracle technologies and best practices.


Analystics and AI adoption


  • Utilize advanced analytics to identify trends, anomalies, business risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Leverage AI-powered forecasting and planning tools to improve forecasting accuracy, productivity, and decision support.
  • Develop predictive models, scenario planning, and what-if analyses to evaluate business performance under multiple assumptions.
  • Champion the adoption of AI-enabled, data-driven finance solutions to enhance planning, forecasting,

Experience and Qualification
  • 6–9 years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or P&L management
  • Experience working in a multinational, matrixed organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA, CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • Strong analytical, financial planning, forecasting, and business partnering skills.
  • Proficiency in Oracle EPM/ERP, Excel, and data analytics tools is an advantage.

As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed. You may participate in cross functional programs and projects.
