The BIM team drives digital transformation by creating accurate 3D models, enabling clash detection, and supporting Scan-to-BIM workflows. Opportunities include advanced modelling, project coordination, automation using tools like Dynamo, and collaboration on global projects—ideal for candidates passionate about innovation and multidisciplinary design.

AtkinsRéalis Global Technology Centre (GTC) is seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Designer with 8 to 15 years of Substation experience with Revit to join our Bangalore office. This role involves working on single and multi-disciplinary Substation projects (Green field and Brown field), focusing on delivering high-quality BIM and CAD outputs that meet international standards. The role spans Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Renewables, Infrastructure, and Nuclear domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Preparing and posting of prepayments and recharge journals
• Assist in preparation of financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
• Review and proactively resolve issues relating to missing time and associated earnings
• Thorough review of overheads and proactive challenge and resolution of issues and errors
• Understand, monitor, and communicate key drivers behind the salary control account process
• Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
• Review and validate lease agreements, including rent escalations, incentives, dilaps, and lease modifications.

Professional & Technical skills

• 3 to 6 years of experience working in the accounting function of a sizeable international company
• Technically proficient in preparing and reviewing management accounts, budget and forecasts
• Good inter-personal skills and comfortable in dealing with senior colleagues
• Experience in working for a consultancy business, especially an engineering consultancy, would be a significant advantage
• Knowledge and experience of the following would be an advantage: Oracle ERP; Oracle EPM (ePBCS)
• Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, etc.) and exposure to Power BI
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize own workload
• Strong sense of ownership, drive and ability to deliver results
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Good team player with positive attitude
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze information and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree – Preferably B’Com / Master’s degree
• Part qualified CA, CMA, ACCA (not mandatory)

Additional Information

• Working hours: 10am – 7.30pm (India Standard Time) but flexibility will be required.  The candidate must be available to work UK hours at month-ends.
