Role Overview

Software Engineer (AI & GenAI) responsible for developing scalable applications and integrating AI-powered capabilities, including chatbots, copilots, and automation solutions. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to build backend services, APIs, and cloud-based applications while leveraging LLMs and enterprise data sources. Contributes to the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.

What you would do :

 Key Responsibilities 

1. AI Agent Development (Entry-Level) 

• Assist in building and integrating AI agents and AI-powered features into applications 

• Support implementation of LLM-based use cases (e.g., chatbots, copilots, automation flows) 

• Apply basic prompt engineering techniques under guidance 

2. Software Engineering 

• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and application components 

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices 

• Participate in unit testing, debugging, and code reviews 

3. AI & Data Integration 

• Support integration of AI models with enterprise applications and data sources 

• Work with structured and unstructured data (APIs, documents, datasets) 

• Assist in implementing simple retrieval/search workflows 

4. Cloud & DevOps Support 

• Contribute to deployment of applications on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) 

• Support CI/CD pipeline execution and automation tasks 

• Assist in containerization and environment setup 

5. Collaboration 

• Work closely with senior engineers, architects, and product teams 

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) 

• Communicate progress, issues, and ideas clearly 

What you should have :

🔧 Core Engineering 

• 4–8 years of software development experience (or strong academic/project background) 

• Programming knowledge in React, Python, Java, or similar languages 

• Strong understanding of Architecture, APIs and backend development 

🤖 AI / GenAI (Foundational) 

• Exposure to: 

• Large Language Models (LLMs) 

• Prompt engineering basics 

• AI tools/libraries (OpenAI APIs, LangChain, etc.) (academic or project experience acceptable) 

☁️ Cloud & Tools 

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) 

• Familiarity with: 

• Git and version control 

• CI/CD concepts 

• Containerization basics (Docker – optional) 

📊 Data & Integration 

• Basic understanding of: 

• SQL or data querying 

• Data processing concepts 

• API integrations
