Job Summary
Synechron seeks an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across Google Cloud Platform and multi-cloud environments. This role emphasizes hands-on cloud engineering, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable software and data platforms. The ideal candidate will drive cloud-native adoption, optimize performance and costs, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and governance.


Software Requirements


Required Skills (Essential)


  • Deep hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)


  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code using Terraform (and/or CloudFormation when applicable)


  • Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling


  • Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting


  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)


  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tooling


  • Experience with monitoring and logging (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring, Stackdriver)


  • Familiarity with security best practices, IAM, network security, and data protection in cloud environments


  • Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data management concepts


  • Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)

  • Design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP and across multi-cloud environments


  • Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment


  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment workflows


  • Collaborate with development, QA, data, and security teams to deliver reliable and secure platforms
