Role Purpose
The IDMC Integration Technical Specialist is technicalrolewithin the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) function, responsible for the design, delivery, and operational excellence of enterprise data integrations using Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
This role specialises in Cloud Application Integration (CAI), Cloud Data Integration (CDI), andAPI‑basedintegration patterns, enabling seamless, secure, and scalable data movement across enterprise platforms. The role combines deep technicalexpertisewith leadership accountability, stakeholder engagement, and service ownership, ensuring integrations meet business, regulatory, and quality requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Integration Strategy & Delivery
Design, develop, and implemententerprise‑scaleintegration solutionsusing IDMC, with a focus on CAI, CDI, and API patterns.
Define and promoteintegration standards, reference architectures, and best practicesto ensure consistency, scalability, and reusability.
Optimise integration performance, resilience, and scalability across operational and analytical workloads.
Technical Leadership
Review solution designs and guide teams on complex integration challenges.
Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that drives continuous technical improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and product teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
Act as a trusted advisor, managing expectations and ensuring integration outcomes align with businessobjectives.
Communicate clearly on risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
Service & Operational Management
Own the operational performance of integration services, ensuring adherence toservice level agreements (SLAs).
ApplyITIL best practicesacross incident, problem, change, and service delivery management.
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex integration incidents and systemic issues.
Quality, Compliance & Governance
Ensure all integration solutionscomply withenterprise governance, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain clear documentation of integration designs, configurations, and operational processes to support audit and compliance needs.
Proactivelyidentify, manage, and mitigate risks, ensuringtimelyclosure of actions and CAPAs.
Continuous Improvement
Stay current with emerging integration patterns, IDMC platform enhancements, and industry best practices.
Identifyand implement opportunities for automation, process optimisation, and technical simplification.
Contribute to the maturity of the enterprise integration capability andshared‑servicesoperating model.
Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Informatica Cloud (IDMC) Integration Certification(CDI / CAI) –requiredor strongly preferred.
ITIL Certification–requiredor strongly preferred.
Deepexpertisein:
Cloud Data Integration (CDI)–high‑performancebatch and operational data flows
Cloud Application Integration (CAI)–real‑time,event‑drivenintegrations
REST/SOAP APIs
StrongproficiencyinSQL, Python, and Javawithin IDMC integration contexts.
Hands‑onexperience with:
IDMC REST APIs
Informatica Transformation Language
XQuery
CI/CD implementation using:
Git‑basedsource control
Azure DevOps or GitHub
Automated promotion and deployment using IDMC APIs
Strong analytical andproblem‑solvingcapability, with a pragmatic delivery mindset.
Proven ability to influence across technical and business teams.
Comfortable operating in amatrix,multi‑geographyorganisation.
Fluent written and spoken English
Experience Required:
Minimum 7 years’ experiencein enterprise data integration, with strong focus onInformatica Cloud (IDMC).
Proven experience leadingIDMC integration initiativesand mentoring technical teams.
Experienceoperatingin regulated environments with strong quality and compliance expectations
