Job Description

Denodo is looking for a technical, passionate, hands-on data advocate, customer-oriented, and willing to take Denodo's learning and adoption to the next level to join our Global Office team, as part of the Customer Success organization.



Your mission: to help denodians realize their full potential through accelerated adoption and productive use of Denodo Platform features.



In this role you will successfully employ a combination of high technical expertise and skills to develop and maintain technical enablement resources from internal users at Denodo.



Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Technical:
    • Develop white papers, presentations, training materials or documentation on topics related to Denodo Platform or his ecosystem including but not limited to technical sessions coordination, technical newsletter, and the creation of a central repository for the internal knowledge.
    • Obtain and maintain strong knowledge of the Denodo Platform, be able to deliver a superb technical pitch, including overview of our key and advanced features and benefits, services offerings, differentiation, and competitive positioning.
    • Constantly learn new things and maintain an overview of modern technologies.
    • Be able to deliver a superb technical pitch including an overview of Denodo Platform's key and advanced features and benefits, differentiation, and competitive positioning.
    • Follow up on the release calendar of updates and versions to identify opportunities to create new material.
  • Coordination:
    • Ensure internal Denodo users are well-equipped with the resources and training needed to effectively perform with the Denodo Platform in an environment of fast-paced change.
    • Coordinate back-office activities and work on multiple initiatives to help improve Denodo resources and training available for internal Denodo users.
    • Interact with the local managers to coordinate the development and maintenance of technical resources.
  • Reporting/Communication:
    • Interact with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on the technical resources roadmap and get feedback.
    • Ensure that upper-level management is aware of issues regarding processes, protocols, or educational materials.

Desired Skills & Experience
Required Skills
  • BS or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role, preferably in the data management or analytics software industry.
  • 2+ years experience with Denodo Platform working on real projects.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on Technical Content creation.
  • Knowldege of JIRA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to interact with technical and business counterparts.
  • Good knowledge of data ecosystems.

Non-mandatory Skills (Nice to have)
  • Solid understanding of SQL and good grasp of relational and analytical database management theory and practice.
  • Experience in software development, especially in the web and database fields.
  • Experience working with GIT or other version control systems.
  • Experience working with data technologies such as Data Lakes and/or noSQL environments like Presto, mongoDB, Databricks.
  • Experience in Windows & Linux (and UNIX) operating systems in server environments.
  • Business software implementation and integration projects (e.g. ETL/Data Warehouse architectures, CEP, BPM).
  • Integration with packaged applications (e.g. SAP, Business Intelligence tools, ...).
  • Experience with AI and Agentic ecosystems.
  • Experience in attending customer meetings and writing technical documentation.
  • Foreign language skills are a plus.
