About this Role
We are seeking a Kubernetes Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable public cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions, primarily on AWS. This role focuses on delivering reliable, cloud-native platforms, supporting application deployments on Kubernetes, and enabling transformation from legacy systems to modern cloud environments while maintaining high system availability and performance.


What you’ll do
  • Manage project-driven integration and day-to-day administration of cloud solutions
  • Deploy applications on Kubernetes using Helm charts, manifests, and CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD, GoCD, or Jenkins
  • Interpret and customise Helm charts based on environment requirements (development, testing, production)
  • Build Dockerfiles and container images for both frontend and backend applications
  • Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues in cloud environments
  • Automate cloud solutions and integrations across AWS environments and project workloads
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform scripts
  • Support migration of on-premises applications to cloud-native architectures
  • Provide technical consultancy across cloud-related programmes and environments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and support application onboarding to Kubernetes clusters
  • Promote DevOps practices and contribute to building a culture of continuous improvement
  • Monitor and optimise cloud performance, including network, storage, and system reliability


Who you are
  • Experienced in cloud technologies with strong expertise in AWS services such as VPC, EC2, ECS, S3, EBS, ELB, and related components
  • Skilled in Kubernetes, including configuration of services, deployments, network policies, and secrets
  • Proficient in DevOps tools such as Git, Terraform, EKS, and CI/CD platforms
  • Knowledgeable in Helm, Docker, containerisation, and application deployment practices
  • Familiar with monitoring tools and cloud services such as AWS CloudWatch and GitOps practices
  • Understanding of infrastructure automation, including Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Experienced in working within agile environments and supporting business-critical systems
  • Familiar with ITIL, SOX, and security standards
  • Effective communicator with strong documentation skills
  • Holds a degree in IT or a related field, with relevant experience in cloud computing or enterprise IT
