Job description

Lead Solution Architect – Veeva Vault PromoMats

Company: Novo Nordisk Global Business Services (GBS)

Are you ready to shape the future of promotional content at a global scale? Join us to lead the end-to-end solution ownership of Veeva Vault PromoMats – a business-critical platform that powers how Novo Nordisk creates, reviews and delivers compliant content to large network  of healthcare professionals worldwide.

Your new role
As Lead Solution Architect for Veeva Vault PromoMats, you will be accountable for the strategy, design and delivery of a global platform serving Marketing, Sales and MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) teams in a highly regulated environment. You will combine deep platform expertise with strong business process understanding, while driving organisational change management to ensure successful adoption of PromoMats solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning end-to-end solution design – bridging business requirements and technical implementation – and translating MLR and marketing needs into scalable, compliant PromoMats configurations
  • Architecting and configuring Veeva PromoMats (workflows, objects, security model, lifecycle states) and defining scalable design patterns and reusable components in line with enterprise architecture, security and data governance standards
  • Driving the design and optimisation of content lifecycle processes (creation, review, approval, distribution) and leading MLR process enablement to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Designing and overseeing integrations with CRM, marketing platforms and other downstream systems, defining data models, content flows and synchronisation strategies across the ecosystem
  • Providing governance across the delivery lifecycle (Agile/hybrid) and ITSM, leading solution design workshops, backlog shaping and release planning
  • Identifying opportunities to improve cycle times, user experience and operational efficiency, and driving adoption of new Vault capabilities and industry best practices
  • Leveraging an AI-first approach – complemented by automation, data insights and omnichannel integrations – to transform PromoMats into a more efficient, scalable content engine
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, shaping solution strategy and roadmap, and driving stakeholder engagement, communication and training

Your new department
In Enterprise IT & Quality, you will be part of a business area that drives impact across the full Novo Nordisk value chain. We strive to stay close to our stakeholders in the business to ensure we deliver on their needs, helping reach millions of people living with serious chronic diseases. Our focus is on being at the forefront within our three areas; ensuring the highest quality for patients, being a trusted tech leader and an environmentally responsible business.

You will join the Customer Engagement Technologies (CET) team, within Enterprise IT – Veeva & Ecosystem, which drives the strategy, development and delivery of connected, data-driven commercial solutions. Partnering closely with Customer Engagement and Medical business stakeholders, the team enables seamless, orchestrated engagement journeys and empowers data-informed decision-making to create differentiated experiences for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a strategic techno-functional leader who combines deep Veeva expertise with the ability to shape business processes and drive change. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, with 10+ years of overall industry experience in regulated GxP environments and at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats (configuration and architecture)
  • Deep understanding of MLR processes and promotional compliance, with proven techno-functional experience across solution design, configuration and business process mapping
  • Hands-on expertise in Veeva Vault PromoMats, Vault workflows, objects, security and lifecycle management, together with experience designing system integrations across the content ecosystem
  • Experience delivering in Agile/hybrid environments and ITSM, including large-scale, cross-geographical projects and managing external partners
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across business and IT, combined with strategic thinking, storytelling ability, data-driven decision making and a safe, ethical AI implementation mindset
  • PromoMats Certification and a good understanding of related Veeva products is desirable
