Job Description:

Job title: Master Data Specialist — Customer & Pricing

The Opportunity: The Master data specialist will work on customer master cleanup, pricing condition record remediation, sales view (MVKE) discipline on materials, and reconciliation against Salesforce account, product, price book, opportunity, and contract data.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Execute customer master cleanup
  • Personally execute customer master remediation across KNA1, KNVV, KNB1, KNVP — including general data, sales area data, partner functions, ship-to / bill-to / payer structures.
  • Reconcile customer hierarchies against Salesforce Account structures; resolve duplicates and orphaned records.
  •  Maintain ship-to address quality — critical anchor data for downstream OneIB install base capture.
  • Execute pricing condition records cleanup
  • Cleanse pricing condition records across the A-tables — A004, A005, A305, custom condition tables — including validity, scales, and currency consistency.
  • Operate VK11 / VK12 / VK14 for condition record maintenance and mass updates where MASS does not cover.
  • Reconcile SAP condition records against Salesforce Pricebook entries and Quote line items; escalate integration defects appropriately.
  • Maintain material sales views
  • Cleanse MVKE sales view data on material masters — sales org, distribution channel, item category group, tax classification.
  • Pair with the Material Master Specialist where sales view defects originate from material archetype or unit-of-measure issues.
  • Close gates and sustain
  • Operate Process Runner, Precisely Automate Studio, and MASS for high-volume customer and pricing updates.
  • Maintain the Defect Register for customer / pricing domain; feed coverage %, defect rate, and cycle-time inputs into the KPI Dashboard.
  • Sign off Exit Gate Checklists at the three Definition of Done levels.
  • Hand off sustainment patterns to BAU when a wave clears target DOD.

Your background:

  • Experience: 8+ years hands-on SAP master data execution, with documented volume — personally cleared thousands of customer records or pricing condition records in prior cleanup programs.
  • End-to-end domain knowledge: Working understanding of how master data flows across all six domains and how customer / pricing data depends on material foundations and affects finance / revenue downstream.
  • Customer and pricing depth: Fluent across KNA1, KNVV, KNB1, KNVP, MVKE, and pricing A-tables (A004, A005, A305 and custom tables).
  • Transaction fluency: XD01 / XD02 / XD03, VD01 / VD02, VK11 / VK12 / VK14, MASS, MDG_SW, SE16N — used daily.
  • Salesforce literacy: Working knowledge of Salesforce Account, Product, Pricebook, Opportunity, Contract objects and S/4HANA ↔ Salesforce replication patterns. Can read Salesforce records and reconcile against SAP.
  • Mass maintenance tooling: Hands-on with Process Runner, Precisely Automate Studio, or LSMW.
  • Bias to action: Energized by high-volume execution. Closes records, not tickets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ pricing alignment to SAP info records and condition records.
  • Familiarity with quote-to-cash flow including order management (VA01 / VA02), billing (VF01 / VF02), and revenue recognition touchpoints.
  • Background in industrial, capital equipment, or power generation sales operations.
  • Exposure to install base programs where ship-to address quality and customer hierarchy are foundational data anchors.
  • Experience in post-SI environments and remediation of go-live data debt.
