Department: Projects / MEP
Experience Required: Minimum 4+ years in MEP works, preferably in the construction industry
Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering
Employment Type: Full-Time


Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works at construction sites.
  2. Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents before execution.
  3. Coordinate MEP activities with civil, structural, architectural, and other project teams to avoid clashes and execution delays.
  4. Monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical, plumbing, firefighting, HVAC, and other MEP systems.
  5. Ensure all MEP works are executed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
  6. Prepare material requirements and coordinate with the Procurement and Stores teams to ensure timely availability of MEP materials.
  7. Review material submittals, technical datasheets, shop drawings, and method statements.
  8. Supervise MEP subcontractors, vendors, and site teams and monitor their daily progress and productivity.
  9. Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and statutory requirements.
  10. Identify technical issues and site constraints and coordinate with consultants, clients, and project teams for timely resolution.
  11. Monitor project progress against the approved MEP schedule and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
  12. Verify subcontractor measurements, work completion quantities, and MEP bills in coordination with the Quantity Surveying and Billing teams.
  13. Ensure proper testing, inspection, documentation, and approval of MEP installations at each stage of construction.
  14. Coordinate testing and commissioning activities and ensure proper functioning of all MEP systems before project handover.
  15. Prepare and maintain MEP progress reports, inspection records, testing reports, material records, and other project documentation.
  16. Coordinate the preparation and submission of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, test certificates, and project handover documents.
  17. Ensure compliance with applicable electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety, environmental, and building regulations.
  18. Participate in project coordination meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
  19. Support the Project Manager in MEP planning, cost control, resource planning, and project execution.
  20. Ensure proper coordination between MEP services and architectural finishes to minimize rework and maintain project quality.
