A day in the life of an Infoscion
* As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment
* You will explore the alternatives to the recommended solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, information available in public domains, vendor evaluation information, etc. and build POCs
* You will create requirement specifications from the business needs, define the to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements.
* You will support configuring solution requirements on the products; understand if any issues, diagnose the root-cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify and shortlist solution alternatives
* You will also contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.

We are looking for a Network consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Aruba Wireless, ClearPass, Aruba AOS-S, AOS-CX switching, and Aruba Central. The role primarily focuses on design and implementation. The candidate must have strong practical experience in RF optimization, Wi-Fi tuning, User-Based Tunneling (UBT), and network segmentation.
Aruba Wireless Design (Strong Focus Area)
* Manage Aruba Wireless infrastructure:
o Instant APs
o Controllers
o Aruba Central
* Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade Wi-Fi networks using Aruba technologies across large-scale campus and branch environments
* Perform advanced RF planning, design, and tuning, including:
o Channel planning (2.4GHz / 5GHz / 6GHz / Wi-Fi 6/6E)
o Transmit power optimization
o Co-channel and adjacent channel interference mitigation
o Coverage vs capacity design
* Lead wireless performance tuning and optimization, ensuring:
o Seamless user experience
o Low latency and packet loss
o High client density handling (stadium / office / warehouse scenarios)
* Deep expertise in Wi-Fi protocols and standards, including:
o 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax (Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, 6E)
o Roaming standards (802.11k, 802.11v, 802.11r)
o Band steering, load balancing
* Troubleshoot complex Wi-Fi issues using packet captures and RF analysis, including:
o Sticky client issues
o Roaming delays and disconnections
o Authentication and DHCP failures
o Latency, jitter, and throughput issues
ClearPass (Network Access Control)
* Design and implement ClearPass Policy Manager solutions
* Configure:
* 802.1X authentication (wired & wireless)
* AAA (RADIUS, TACACS+)
* Role-based access control
* Endpoint profiling & device onboarding
* Implement guest access, posture checks, and compliance policies
Switching (AOS-S & AOS-CX)
* Advanced configuration and troubleshooting of:
* Aruba AOS-S (ProCurve) switches
* Aruba AOS-CX (CX 6xxx/8xxx/9xxx series)
* Implement:
* VLANs, STP/RSTP/MSTP
* Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
* VSX, VRRP for redundancy
