The Oracle HR Technical Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting reporting solutions within Oracle Fusion HCM. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle HCM reporting tools, Oracle REST APIs, Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS), and emerging AI technologies, including AI Agents. This role requires close collaboration with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable reporting, integrations, and intelligent automation solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Fusion HCM reports using:
    • BI Publisher (BIP)
    • OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence)
    • HCM Extracts
    • Oracle Analytics Publisher
  • Develop complex SQL queries and optimize report performance.
  • Build and consume Oracle Fusion HCM REST APIs for data integration and automation.
  • Design and develop applications and extensions using Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS).
  • Configure and integrate Oracle Redwood-based user experiences where applicable.
  • Design and implement AI-powered solutions using Oracle AI capabilities and AI Agents to automate HR processes and improve user experience.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to gather reporting and integration requirements.
  • Develop reusable APIs, integration components, and reporting frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot reporting, API, and integration issues and provide production support.
  • Ensure adherence to Oracle best practices, security standards, and governance.
  • Prepare technical documentation, unit test cases, and deployment documentation.
  • Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion HCM technical development experience.
  • Strong experience with:
    • BI Publisher
    • OTBI
    • HCM Extracts
    • Fast Formula
  • Experience developing and consuming Oracle Fusion HCM REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Redwood UI architecture.
  • Experience integrating Oracle Fusion HCM with external applications.
  • Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
