Purpose of the role



To extract meaningful insights from complex data sets, developing robust decision models, and presenting actionable recommendations to stakeholders across the departments. 




Accountabilities



  • Identification and extraction of relevant data from various internal and external sources.
  • Performing sensitivity analysis and scenario planning.
  • Monitoring and evaluation of the performance of existing models.
  • Development and implementation of data quality control procedures.
  • Building and validation of quantitative models to support decision-making across different business areas.

The Portfolio Analytics team plays a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making across the credit card portfolio by performing competitive analysis and benchmarking efforts to uncover market trends, identify growth opportunity & performance gaps, and inform product strategy. Your insights will shape evidence-based recommendations that enhance product propositions & portfolio strategy to drive business impact. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to influence and shape overall portfolio strategy.




To be successful in this role as a “Partnership & Portfolio Analyst ", you should possess the following skillsets:



  • Experience with strong analytical capabilities to develop data-driven insights, formulate recommendations, and create executive-level presentations.
  • Advanced proficiency in analytical and visualization tools, including Python, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving, with a focus on driving meaningful business outcomes and supporting strategic decision-making.

Some other highly valued skills include:



  • Prior experience in strategy, business analytics, financial modelling, or other quantitative analysis roles is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply analytical rigor and business judgment to solve complex problems and support strategic decision-making.
  • Knowledge of key competencies critical to success in the role, including risk management and controls, change and transformation initiatives, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology capabilities.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to leverage data, analytics, and emerging technologies to drive business outcomes.
