At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in electrical engineering to a dynamic and innovative environment. You’ll work alongside driven, collaborative, and solution-oriented teammates.

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Fleet & Warranty, EHS, Industrial, IS&T, Sourcing, SCM, and Operations, while also coordinating with external stakeholders such as UPPCL and Indian Railways. You’ll lead efforts to improve operational effectiveness, reduce downtime, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

You’ll specifically take care of diagnosing faults and maintaining depot equipment, utilities, and infrastructure, but also implementing preventative maintenance schedules and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Carrying out fault diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs on plant and equipment in a safe and professional manner

  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulations

  • Developing and managing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules

  • Optimising equipment performance and ensuring achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies

  • Managing contractors and providing technical expertise to the team

  • B.Tech degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Regular Course) with an Electrical Supervisor Certificate

  • Experience in plant maintenance with 8–10 years (B.Tech) or 12–14 years (Diploma) preferred

  • Working knowledge of quality, health, and safety standards

  • Hands-on experience with Railway OHE, switchyards, and 25KV & 11KV systems

  • Experience in maintaining plant utilities, such as air compressors, EOT cranes, pumps, sumps, STP, and ETP

  • Experience with DG operation and TPM systems

  • Proficiency in work permits, including LOTO and working at height

  • Ability to prepare SOPs, HIRA, and LOTO instructions

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Fluency in English and Hindi
