Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Plant Manager for its Bangalore location. 



Job Summary:

Plant Manager is responsible for driving strategic and operational leadership. Drive profit and loss, growth strategy and organizational direction to meet and exceed short and long-term business goals. Our leaders will foster an environment of engagement and inclusion for all employees and act with advocacy, empathy, and accountability.




Manage both operational leadership team and functional staff including Quality, Finance, Continuous Improvement, Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Engineering and Maintenance. 




  • Act with analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to drive Key Performance Indicators.
  • Emphasize utilization of Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing tools (Kaizen, VSM, 5S+) to lead cost improvement analysis and implement actionable, measurable plans.
  • Champion a workplace focused on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to drive a zero-incident safety culture.
  • Foster a Quality culture of early detection and escalations across the site to reduce cost, drive efficiency and ensure compliance.
  • Partner with Human Resources to drive a talent management, learning, communication, and development strategies.

What you’ll do:
  • Responsible for the delivery and development of SCM, ME, Quality, EHS & Customer Support functions and Employee Development.
  • Responsible for WIP management, OTR/OTD, FPY/FRY, operator safety.
  • TPM of plant machinery, OEE, Tool Management and Control.
  • Continous Improvement Process.
  • Manage complete manufacturing operations effectively and efficiently to manufacture a quality product at low cost.
  • Responsibility includes production, planning in coordination with division SIOP team and plant SCM team, scheduling and plant maintenance.
  • Making sure purchase & materials and expenses control & monitoring the same regularly. 
  • Deliver products on due date as per the production and sales plans.
  • Own and Contribute in meeting high5 of the plant. Develop culture in the plant around meeting the high5.
  • Act as a facilitator for meeting dynamic demands of manufacturing development, cost optimization by monitoring productivity, fixed & variable cost, rejection and process development.
  • Ensure that works are carried out as per AS9100 systems requirement, EQMS system requirements & safety requirements.
  • Monitor, co-ordinate & control activities of personnel reporting to him.
  • Drive and motivate people for continuous improvement activity.
  • Create an atmosphere conducive for innovations, improvements and new adaptations. And ensure that staff is responsive and vibrant for new assignments.
  • Implementation of Lean Manufacturing at Shop. Implementation and adherence to the Eaton Business System.
  • Managing the new machine installation project activities right from the conceptualization stage to the execution, involving finalization of specification, scheduling, monitoring, trials & commissioning.

Qualifications:
  • B.E. / B.Tech / MBA (Operations/Strategy).
  • Additional Certifications in Supply Chain (CSCP/CPIM) preferred.
  • 15+ years across Operations, Supply Chain, Opex, Engineering in a Manufacturing environment with atleast 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience managing global stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of ERP and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Good communication skills with proficiency in English.
