The Sécheron Hasler Group is seeking a BI architect who will report directly to the Group Head of ERP & Business Applications and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing the company's Business Intelligence and reporting platform based on Oracle EBS and Microsoft Power BI.
The role will drive the transformation from decentralized Excel-based reporting and custom data extraction tools to a centralized, secure, and scalable analytics platform leveraging Power BI Gateway , shared Semantic Models , and governed self-service reporting capabilities.
Working closely with Oracle developers, ERP teams, and business stakeholders, the BI Architect will ensure KPI consistency, reporting standardization, data quality, and the establishment of a robust analytics foundation supporting Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other business functions.
The position will also contribute to the definition of future reporting data models and collaborate on the evolution of the company's analytics architecture.
Lead the design, implementation, and governance of the company's Business Intelligence platform based on Oracle EBS and Microsoft Power BI.
Configure and manage Power BI Gateway connectivity between on-premise Oracle EBS environments and Power BI Service.
Develop and maintain enterprise Semantic Models to ensure KPI consistency and a single source of truth across the organization.
Establish reporting standards, security policies, Row-Level Security (RLS), and Power BI governance best practices.
Collaborate with Oracle developers to design standardized reporting structures, data models, and scalable analytical solutions.
Translate business requirements into robust reporting and dashboard solutions for Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other business functions.
Drive the transition from Excel-based reporting and custom extracts to governed self-service analytics and Thin Reports.
Support business users, promote adoption of Power BI best practices, and contribute to the long-term evolution of the company's analytics and data architecture.
Monitor and optimize Power BI datasets, refresh schedules, gateway performance, and report responsiveness.
Skills: Qualification and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: 4 -6 years in Power BI (minimum 3 yrs of experience in Power BI are mandatory) Must Have Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Service).
Experience implementing and managing Power BI Gateway.
Strong understanding of Semantic Models, DAX, and Power Query.
Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).
Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with Oracle databases.
Experience designing analytical data models and reporting structures.
Experience establishing BI governance and reporting standards.
Knowledge of Power BI administration, deployment, and security best practices.
Problem-Solving & Security – Strong analytical skills with a security-first mindset.
Data Modelling, Data warehouse concepts, ETL processes.
Enterprise data governance Fluent in written and spoken English.
Nice to Have Certifications Strong addition for credibility: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (preferred)
