Purpose
Supports the business to comply with global privacy obligations. The position provides advisory services to all Groups on their implementation of Woodside’s Privacy program requirements across all business activities and jurisdictions in which Woodside operates.

TECHNICAL
Privacy
  • Support the development, implementation and governance of a pan-Woodside privacy program.
  • Provide privacy-related advice regarding the implementation of new applications and procedures related to the management of personal information, including the privacy impact assessment process.
  • Coach Privacy Focal Points across the organisation to drive effective management of privacy obligations and controls across Woodside’s business activities.
  • Staying up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry trends.
  • Support the investigation and resolution of privacy incidents and non-compliance events, including associated reporting.
  • Support resolution of privacy-related queries and complaints, including those relating to third-party contractors. Monitor, communicate and embed changes in privacy laws across the organisation.
  • Assessing privacy-related risks arising from existing products and services
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of privacy-related risk mitigation and compliance measures
  • Accountable for enabling effective risk (strategic, material and emerging) management and reporting for International Operations.
  • Champion the development and embedding of a strong privacy culture across the organisation.
