About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, vendor coordination, and purchasing activities within a dynamic oil & gas services environment. The role involves ensuring timely procurement of materials and services, maintaining cost efficiency, and supporting smooth supply chain operations aligned with business requirements.


Key Responsibilities
Procurement & SourcingIdentify and source suppliers for materials, equipment, and services.Obtain quotations, evaluate bids, and negotiate pricing and terms.Ensure timely procurement to meet project and operational requirements.Maintain accurate purchase orders and procurement documentation.
Vendor ManagementDevelop and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.Evaluate vendor performance and ensure quality standards are met.Coordinate with vendors for order tracking, delivery schedules, and issue resolution.Identify alternative suppliers to optimize cost and efficiency.
Purchase Order & Contract ManagementPrepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.Ensure contracts and agreements are properly reviewed and documented.Track order status and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Handle discrepancies related to deliveries, invoices, or quality issues.
Inventory & Supply Chain CoordinationMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams.Ensure optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.Support logistics coordination for timely delivery of materials.Assist in minimizing wastage and improving supply chain efficiency.
Compliance & Cost ControlEnsure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations.Monitor procurement budgets and control costs effectively.Maintain accurate records for audits and reporting purposes.Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Reporting & CoordinationPrepare procurement reports and updates for management.Coordinate with finance, operations, and project teams.Maintain proper documentation and records of procurement activities.Support audits and ensure transparency in procurement processes.


Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.3–6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations.Experience in oil & gas, engineering, or project-based industries is preferred.
